# Week 1 - User Needs and Business Goals

# Details

Select an application from the list below or preferably an application that you personally use on regular basis. The application must have a desktop and mobile version. The application criteria is to allow you to perform complex tasks like banking or transport. Identify the following:

# Business Goals:

  • At least 3 primary business goals of the full website
  • At least 3 primary business goals of the mobile site/app

# User Needs

  • At least 3 primary user goals of the mobile site/app
  • At least 2 primary user goals of the mobile site/app

# Deliverable for this exercise:

  • (optional) Create a Mad9020 folder in your Figma workspace
  • Create a new figma file and give it the assignment name
  • Add a cover page or ensure your name is in the file
  • Add your discoveries to the frame
  • Add a screenshots of the application you investigated, ensure to hide any sensitive personal data or details
  • Design Bonus: Make you findings look good.

Note

  • When thinking of Business goals think like a business, what are they trying to acheive?
  • When thinking of User Needs, put yourself in the user’s shoes. "As a user, I want to ..."

# Submission

  • Export your frame to a PNG and submit it to the assignement in Brightspace
  • Add a figma link to your file, always make sure when you click share that the link is public with edit access to anyone who has the link.
  • Open Brightspace LMS and go to the Activities > Assignments page.
  • Go to the Week 1 - User goals and business needs assignment.
  • Upolad your png on the assignment page and click the submit button.
